COMPOSITIONȘ
100 ml suspension contains:
Excipients
Benzoic acid............................................................. 0,8 g.
Colloidal silicon dioxide, Xanthan gum, Sorbitol, Benzoic acid, Polysorbate 80, Distilled water.

PHARMACOTHERAPEUTIC ACTION
It is a broad-spectrum anthelmintic of the benzimidazole group, active against gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes (adult forms, larvae, eggs), adult trematodes and cestodes. It causes parasite death by blocking enzyme systems involved in glucose uptake. Taken orally, it is rapidly absorbed and diffuses to all organs and tissues. It is predominantly excreted in the urine.

Cattle.

INDICATIONS
HELMIZOL A 10 - is recommended for the treatment of the following endoparasitoses in cattle, sheep and goats produced by :
- Gastrointestinal nematodes: Haemonchus spp., Ostertagia spp., Trichostrongylus spp., Bunostomum spp., Cooperia spp., Nematodirus spp., Oesophagostomum spp., Toxocara spp;
- Lung nematodes: Dictyocaulus spp.
- Cestodes: Moniezia spp;
- Adult trematodes: Fasciola spp., Dicrocoelium spp., Paramphistomum spp.

DOSAGE, ROUTE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
It is administered by mouth, using the usual devices, the recommended doses being as follows (1 ml suspension corresponds to 100 mg White):

Bovine:
Administer 7.5 ml product/100 kg body weight, corresponding to 7.5 mg White/ kg body weight. For the treatment of mature forms of trematodes as well as larval forms of Ostertagia spp., the dose is increased to 10 ml product /100 kg body weight, i.e. 10 mg /kg body weight. Repeat treatment is determined by the veterinarian according to the life cycle of the parasites. No special diet is required before or after treatment.

CONTRAINDICATIONS, PRECAUTIONS AND ADVERSE REACTIONS
Not for use in the first month of gestation. May be used during lactation. The toxicity of this product is low, with doses 5 times higher than the usual therapeutic doses being tolerated.  Depression and anorexia may rarely occur in case of overdose.

WITHDRAWAL TIME
Meat and organs: 10 days.
Milk: 72 hours.

STORAGE CONDITIONS
Store at a temperature below 25°C. Protect from direct light. Keep away from frost.
